Constitution and By-laws
North High Agriculture
Tradition Since 1985
North High School opened its doors 1953 to serve the students of north Bakersfield. In 1985 the agriculture program was established. The program at its conception was led by Ms. Christine Dickson. Ms. Dickson was instrumental in the early and lengthy success of the program. Now, 30 years after its founding, the program has remained an integral part of the school community. The program today serves over 400 members and has three agriculture teachers. North FFA has a demonstrated record of success in and out the classroom. The chapter's constitution and bylaws are an important piece of the program's success. While the documents have been amended over the years, the chapter's purposes and guiding principals have remained unchanged: To prepare students to be successful in their future endeavors.
